The Valley Federation Governors are looking to appoint a cheerful and dynamic Teaching and Learning Assistant to work in our mixed KS2 class at Hope Primary. The successful applicant will value inclusion and relish working in a child-centred way. They will be happy to follow the teachers lead but equally be forward thinking and proactive to enable adaptive teaching to flow effectively throughout the day.
We are looking for someone who has experience and/or the confidence to support maths groups for year 4, 5 and 6 pupils alongside high levels of literacy skills to model and support reading and writing effectively for pupils. There may be the opportunity for the successful applicant to develop their skills in a pastoral sense and access training to deliver programmes of support such as positive play and Lego therapy.
