Asset Management Inspector

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Asset Management Team to shape the future delivery of capital investment to Bolsover District Council’s housing stock.  Applications are invited from highly motivated individuals who are interested in a career within Local Government and who are committed to providing an excellent service.

The role will involve a mix of both office and site-based work and will including relevant training. 

You will be working closely with Property Services and the internal Repairs Team to identify future schemes for capital investment. This will involve

• Carrying out housing stock condition surveys for which training will be provided.
• Providing inspections and reports on various housing archetypes.
• Assisting in the design, procurement and management of welfare adaptations to make homes suitable for tenant’s needs.
• Monitoring your project budgets
• Carrying out Health, Safety and Quality / progress inspections and maintaining adequate records.
• Ensuring your work is delivered in line with all statutory and corporate policies, procedures and targets.
• Adherence to Leaseholder legislation and consultation where necessary.

All officers may be required to be available in the event of “out of hours” emergencies
