Salary Grade 3 i.e. £26,824 – £28,598 per annum
Full Time, 37 hours per week
We are seeking a highly motivated and well-organised individual with a solid background in regulatory services to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a good standard of general education, including English and Maths at GCSE Grade C / Level 4 or equivalent, alongside a full UK driving licence. You will bring strong communication skills and a proven ability to work with the public, manage conflict, and build effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders. Experience in handling confidential information, managing a varied workload independently, and producing clear reports or statements is essential.
The successful candidate will have up-to-date knowledge in at least two key licensing or regulatory areas such as alcohol premises, gambling, private hire vehicles, or animal activities. Previous experience in a public sector or regulatory environment is desirable, as is familiarity with systems such as Tascomi or Idox. Competence in IT, including the Microsoft Office suite, is required.
