In this rewarding and challenging role, you will assist with initial enquiries of homelessness, advise and assist applicants with all aspects of their housing register application and give information in relation to the allocations policy.
To fulfil this role, we are looking for an experienced professional with a background in customer service and / or an administrative role with working knowledge of choice-based lettings and legislation around allocations.
This role can be busy and demanding, therefore it is essential that you have first class organisation skills, including the ability to meet tight deadlines and to also have a flexible approach to working hours. Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle conflict and adopt a firm but fair approach.

The following vacancies are available for this role:
– x1 Full Time, Fixed Term for 12 Months.
– x1 Full Time, Fixed Term for 6 Months.
Key responsibilities:
– Offer a full and helpful service to members of the public, receiving and dealing with enquiries through the Housing Solutions team.
– Provide administrative support to the Housing Solutions team including the updating of IT systems.
