Section 106 Agreement Monitoring Officer

Salary: £26,824 to £28,142

We are currently recruiting for a Section 106 Agreement Monitoring Officer.

Section106 agreements are secured through the planning application process to mitigate specific planning issues and impacts arising from development proposals. They can require developers to pay financial contributions towards infrastructure but can also secure non-financial obligations.

You will maintain the Register of Section 106 Agreements and proactively monitor the agreements to ensure that the provisions within them are recorded and enacted efficiently.

You will be supported by the Planning Manager- Development Control  together with regular 1-to-1 meetings, full support in a friendly team and an appraisal of formal training needs.

We are looking for someone who is positive and enthusiastic and willing to continue learning and adapt with the role.

Applicants should have experience in dealing with the public in a service environment, have experience of using computer packages, ability to work to deadlines, to organise their own work and manage time effectively, ability to effectively manage, analyse and present findings and data and an excellent attention to detail. You must have qualifications to NVQ Level 2 on the National Skills Framework including English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above.
