We’re excited to announce a fantastic opportunity to join us as a Social Work Practice Manager within the Adult and Health Directorate. If you’re passionate about driving high‑quality social work practice and inspiring others to achieve their best, this could be the role for you. This is a two‑year fixed‑term position within our forward‑thinking Quality Assurance Team.
As our Social Work Practice Manager, you’ll work closely with the Principal Social Worker and Quality Lead, taking a key role in shaping excellent practice across adult social care. You’ll bring your expertise, leadership, and coaching skills to support and empower a wide range of colleagues – qualified and non‑qualified practitioners, social workers, and managers – helping them to grow, develop, and deliver outstanding outcomes for the people we serve.

The successful applicant for this post will be subject to an enhanced check by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The costs for the DBS and Social Work England are paid by us.
The Social Work Practice Manager Interviews will be held on 23 and 24 April 2026. Please be advised this could be subject to change, in which case we will give appropriate notice.
