Schools and Academies
Findern Primary School is an excellent place to work.
If you are someone who will inspire those around you, build meaningful relationships, embrace our team ethic and help us make Findern an even better place to live, learn and work, we want to hear from you. We pride ourselves on the welcoming and friendly atmosphere we promote with pupils, parents/carers and the local community.
We are a forest school and have ECO Schools status, offering all learners the opportunity to grow and develop lifelong skills through hands-on learning experiences. Looking after the environment and preparing children to be responsible adults is a key part of what we do.
We are rated good by Ofsted, and we are looking for a strong team player with enthusiasm, commitment and a solid teaching profile to continue to improve our school for the pupils, staff, governors, parents/carers and the local community.
The role can be flexible depending on strengths of successful applicant, with the two working days to be discussed during the interview process. We will look at how an applicant can best support the school, possibly working from EYFS to KS2 during the week.
In return, we can offer the opportunity to become a valuable member of the school with happy children supported by an excellent and supportive teaching team, as well as a Governing body who are well trained, committed and enthusiastic.
Findern Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
The closing date for applications is Sunday 31st May, provisional interview dates would be week beginning Monday 8th June.
Start date will be September 2026.
We would welcome and encourage visits to the school. Please contact the school office on 01283 702150 to make an appointment.
