Teaching and Learning Assistant (2 Posts)

The Governors of Elton Cof E Controlled Primary School are looking to recruit a Teaching and Learning Assistant to work with pupils with special educational needs.  Although we would like the successful candidate to start as soon as possible, we would be willing to wait for the right person!

The post holder will demonstrate essential professional characteristics, and in particular will: 

• Engage and motivate pupils
• Improve the quality of pupils’ learning
• Demonstrate empathy with and an appreciation of the needs of pupils
• Be committed to making a real difference to the lives of young people with special educational needs and their families/carers
• Be able to offer skills and experience to add to our curriculum
• Able to work across EYFS and Key Stages 1 and 2 as required
• Able to demonstrate strong literacy and numeracy skills
• Have experience of personal care
