Chesterfield Borough Council is seeking a deputy customer experience manager to join our cultural venues team to launch our new theatre and museum venue, 1435.

Your responsibilities will include managing the front of house, and the bars and catering business for the cultural venues and delivering a superb customer experience for all visitors. This include managing the assistant managers, customer assistants, venues assistants, and supervising volunteers.

The successful candidate will ensure that all secondary sales income including bar, catering, retail and merchandise is maximised. You will ensure the efficient management of all bar and catering operations. You will have proven knowledge and experience in staff management and hospitality and have worked in entertainment venues. You will be a personal license holder and hold relevant qualifications in food hygiene and first aid.
