Derbyshire County Council are seeking to employ 12 committed and skilled Family Support Workers to join our Family Help Service. The posts are to be based across Derbyshire:
2 x Full Time Equivalent posts in each locality:
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering early help and prevention services, supporting children, young people and families to achieve positive outcomes and build resilience.
About the Role
As a Family Support Worker, you will deliver high-quality, evidence-based interventions to families supporting our statutory social care service. You will work directly with children, young people and parents to support improved parenting capacity, emotional wellbeing and life opportunities.

Our Family Help Service is part of Family Help and Safeguarding in Children’s Services, focused on providing timely support to families to prevent escalation of need and improve long-term sustained outcomes.
