We are looking for compassionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated tutors to join our Supported learning team.
About the role:
- As a Supported learning tutor, you will deliver tailored learning sessions to adults with learning disabilities.
- Your focus will be on building confidence, developing essential life and work skills, and creating a positive, inclusive learning environment.
What you will do:
- Plan and deliver engaging, accessible lessons based on individual learner needs
- Support learners in developing independence, communication, literacy, numeracy, and vocational skills
- Work collaboratively with support staff and other professionals
- Foster a safe, respectful, and empowering atmosphere for all learners
What we’re looking for:
- Level 3 teaching qualification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and adaptability
- A passion for inclusive education and person-centred learning
