You will collaborate with others to lead and address some of the most pressing health challenges in our communities, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently to deliver the greatest impact on population health.

This role is central to ensuring Derbyshire County Council delivers cost-effective public health interventions that maximize health outcomes and reduce inequalities. You will play a key part in shaping services to ensure they are efficient, equitable, and impactful, helping us make the most of our resources to support the health and well-being of our communities.
What We’re Looking For
While all listed areas are desirable (epidemiology, advanced statistical methods, and health economics), candidates who have significant expertise in one to two areas should demonstrate a commitment to professional development to acquire advanced specialist skills in the area/s where experience is limited.
