We are currently recruiting for a Catering Assistant to work as a valued member of our dedicated kitchen team. You will be supporting the kitchen supervisor in all areas of the service at Monyash Primary School .
This will involve setting up the dining area for lunch time, then following portion control, allergen compliance.
Our Catering Assistants are our point of contact with our hungry customers. Whilst serving meals to our customers all team members help ensure that food hygiene and health & safety regulations are followed. We want to help make good lunchtime memories for our customers so it is essential that you can demonstrate an attitude which is appropriate to the school environment.
Successful completion of the NVQ food hygiene certificate will be required upon appointment. Please be aware this is advertised for three day per week during term time at the moment with a possibility to extent to five days over lunch time.
