Relief Deputy Unit Manager Opportunity

Eccles Fold Day Centre

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Relief Deputy Unit Manager to join our dedicated team at Eccles Fold Day Centre.

We are open 7 days a week, 365 days a year, providing vital support to older adults with a wide range of needs, including:

Dementia
Learning Disabilities
Mental Health Needs
Physical Disabilities
Social Isolation

About the Role

As a Relief Deputy Unit Manager, you will support the Unit Manager and play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the centre.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Overseeing the daily running of the centre during your shift
Handling incoming phone calls
Supporting staff rota and covering absences
Liaising with families, carers, and professionals (GPs, social workers, etc.)
Recording and updating information on computer systems
Completing risk assessments and care plans
️ Reporting maintenance issues within the building
Carrying out Health & Safety checks (e.g. fire alarms, legionella monitoring)
