Derbyshire County Council
We’re looking for a confident and proactive Enterprise Co-ordinator to help develop and manage commercial opportunities across some of Derbyshire’s most valued countryside, heritage and visitor destinations.
Working as part of our Enterprise Team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that commercial activities support our wider objectives for conservation, community engagement and sustainable income generation.
This is a varied role that combines commercial awareness with practical decision-making. You’ll work with event organisers, businesses, community groups and partners to assess proposals, develop opportunities and ensure activities are delivered in a way that protects and enhances our sites while providing high-quality visitor experiences.
Whether reviewing applications for events, supporting commercial agreements, identifying new income streams or helping develop future opportunities, you’ll be at the heart of balancing enterprise activity with the needs of our parks, heritage assets, visitors and local communities.
No two days are the same, so we’re looking for someone who is self-motivated, organised and confident in taking ownership of projects and priorities. You’ll be comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders, making recommendations and helping turn opportunities into successful outcomes.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the future of some of Derbyshire’s most important countryside destinations.
You’ll gain experience across commercial development, partnership working, visitor experience, events governance and countryside management, while helping to create sustainable destinations that benefit visitors, local communities and the environment.
