We are seeking a proactive and motivated Environmental Protection Technical Officer to deliver a comprehensive, customer-focused Environmental Protection service.

Experience: Proven experience in a regulatory role (preferably within a local authority or public service) and direct experience communicating with people from a range of backgrounds.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English, with the ability to interpret legislation and assertively communicate regulatory requirements while remaining supportive.
Decision Making: The confidence to work independently, make timely, informed decisions, and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
Travel & Flexibility: A valid driving licence and access to your own transport for work-related travel. You must also be flexible to work occasionally work unsocial hours.
