About you…
· Experience in a Learning & Development role, working as part of a team to deliver Human Resources & Organisation Development Services.
· Experience of designing and delivering training and briefings to groups of staff, and commissioning training.
· Up to date understanding of apprenticeships.
· Experience of working in a customer focused service with a track record of consistent delivery and achievement of plans
· Experience of working with an HR or Learning Management System.
Able to work on your own initiative.
About the role…
Reporting to the Head of HR and OD, you will lead the implementation of the Council’s corporate learning & development approach, ensuring it aligns seamlessly with our Workforce Strategy.
· Work closely with our services and the HR&OD team, you will support the delivery of high-quality learning & development services, that drives organisational improvement.
· Build relationships with schools and colleges to promote local government as a career. Develop a Talent Academy to support entry-level apprentices and wider learning sets.
