The pupils, staff and Governors of Woodbridge Junior School are looking to an experienced, enthusiastic, empathetic, fun, hardworking and motivated SEND Teaching and Learning Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team as soon as possible.
The post will involve supporting the learning of children with SEND needs both inside and outside the classroom.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience of working with children in Key Stage 2.
- Has a wide range of knowledge and experience of supporting children’s varied needs, especially SEMH needs, ASD and ADHD.
- Has resilience and a willing attitude and fully embraces all aspects of school life.
- Has experience of running outdoor activities or interventions in an educational setting.
- Is warm, friendly and empathetic, and is able to develop excellent relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Aims high in all aspects of school life for self and others.
- Has a strong commitment to safeguarding children.
