Somercotes Infants School are looking for a calm and caring person to join our team working with a group of SEND children. The right candidate will have a good understanding of building relationships with SEND children with a range of different needs, using Makaton to communicate with them and to encourage their communication in response. They will have a good understanding of safeguarding specifically KCSIE. They will enjoy supporting the group with the other adults to explore their physical and emotional development alongside their adapted curriculum.
This post is temporary until the child leaves the school which is due to be July 2025.
