Senior Practitioner

Location: Derbyshire

There is an exciting opportunity to join the High Peak North Social Work as a Senior Practitioner working alongside the Service Manager. 

You will be involved with the day to day running of the team.  You will support the team with learning, development and practice guidance.  

As a Senior Practitioner you will lead by example and ensure that Social Workers and Social Care Practitioners deliver high quality statutory social care services to adults over the age of 18 and young people in transition from Children’s Services.  You will be actively involved in complex case management and court work.  You will offer support, advice, and professional supervision to all members of the team.  You will produce management reports, chair meetings, and deputise for the Service Manager when required. 

The successful candidate will be able to work autonomously and will have excellent knowledge of Safeguarding, The Care Act 2014, and the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
