Social Worker (Starting Point)

Starting Point, Derbyshire’s leading front door service, is currently seeking a dedicated Social Worker to join our dynamic team.  This is part time position required to be worked Wednesday, Thursday and Friday

As a Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in assessing requests for intervention and determining the appropriate support needed. The work environment is fast-paced, requiring confident decision-making and effective teamwork. Building strong relationships with partner agencies and localities within Derbyshire is vital to ensure successful collaboration.

Requirements:

• BA Honours in Social Work and current registration with Social Work England (refer to job and person profile for detailed information).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a person-centred approach to building rapport and relationships with children and families.
• Reflective practice and development capabilities, enabling flexible and thoughtful social work interventions.
